Varshini Sudhakar is a senior at Boston University, pursuing a B.S. in Human Physiology and a minor in Public Health. Currently, she is an intern at the MIT Picower Institute for Learning and Memory and a Research Assistant for the BU EVAL Lab. Her previous research projects include the Effects of Stem Cell Therapy on COPD, the Development of Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome in female veterans, and examining the Differences in Expressive vs. Receptive Speech & Brain Region Activation. She was previously a Clinical Recruitment and Research Assistant through the BU Stepp Lab, worked at Boston Medical Center as an intern for the Autism Program, and also served as a student intern at a pediatric therapy clinic. Varshini is a certified Community Health Worker from the Morehouse School of Medicine, and she is passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare as a physician.
